2022-23 MAJOR SINGLES

Winner:   Aileen Robertson 

The Major Singles were finally completed on Tuesday 12th July, after postponements due to weather.    It was played between Aileen Robertson and Yvonne Austin.  Neither had won this event before.

Aileen got off to a good start but Yvonne fought back and stayed within touch until Aileen shot ahead with a run of multiple scores, taking out the match.   Great bowling by both players. 

Congratulations to Aileen and well done to Yvonne.

The final of the club Triples was held on Friday 19th June 2022.    Luckily it was a sunny day with just a little chill in the air.    Thanks to all the spectators who supported the players.   Great bowls were played by both teams in a hard fought match with Yvonne Austin's team the eventual winners.
