2026 TRIPLES

 

The 2026 Triples were completed on Tuesday 24th March. We had 7 entries in this year's event.

The Semi-finals were played on Sunday 22nd March.

Results: Both matches were very close games.

The Final was played in ideal conditions on Tuesday 24th March.

The many spectators who have supported this event throughout saw some great bowling by both teams.

Congratulations to a very excited Lee, Annette and Kerry on their first Championship win. Well done to Gay, Barbara and Meena.

2026 Minor Singles

 

Winner Renette Burgess

The final of the 2026 Minor Singles was played on Tuesday 24th February 2026 between Renette Burgess and Debra Moore.

In ideal conditions both ladies played great bowls. It was a very close game with only a couple of shots, in some cases only 1 shot, difference between them throughout. Over the 34 ends played the score was level 5 times. On the 32nd end they were tied on 21, then Renette got a 1 on the 33rd end making it 22 - 21. There had not been many multiple scores, but Renette drew 3 lovely bowls on the 34th end to take out the match. What a great game which thrilled the many spectators who came to watch. A worthy final.
