2021 Region 6 Pennant Play-offs

The 2021 Region 6 Pennant play-offs were finally held at Ettalong Bowling Club on Sunday 6th February between Central Coast and Lake Macquarie Districts.     Our Grade 4  ladies played against Swansea Workers.  The weather was not kind with strong gusty winds and intermittent showers.    Our ladies played well but Swansea Workers came out the winners on the day.

2021 MAJOR PAIRS

Winners: Carol Boyd,Yvonne Gordon.  Runners Up: Lorraine Field,Lynne Gordon

The 2021 Major Pairs were finally completed on Friday 28th January after being delayed due to the lockdown last year and subsequent restrictions etc.   

Yvonne Gordon  & Carol Boyd played Lorraine Field and Lynne Gordon.

What a great game was witnessed by the many spectators.   It was a warm humid day becoming windy which made for difficult conditions for the ladies. The game was even until midway through when Yvonne & Carol made a break.  However, Lorraine & Lynne fought back to make for a very exciting finish.      

The end result being Yvonne & Carol winning by 3 shots.    18 - 15.   

Congratulations to all four players.   Well done.
