2025 Christmas

Umina Women held their Christmas Party on Tuesday 9th December. Everyone got into the Christmas spirit, decorating their tables.   After luncheon the members raffle was drawn with some excited winners.    Lucky door prizes were also given out.

President Pat, Life Members Lesley and Sue cut the cake.  Thanks to Yvonne Norman for this.  It looked lovely and tasted good too.

President Pat presented Club Umina's David with gifts for the staff.

Two members were presented with 20 year membership badges.

             Yvonne Austin and Cherie Johnston.

We also had two special birthdays in December.   President Pat and Secretary Sue presented a gift to each of them.

Happy 80th to Hazel Lambert.         Happy 90th to Dawn Burrows.

A lovely day was had by all.       The ladies continued into the afternoon with music and dancing.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.    See you in January.

2025 67th Birthday and Presentation Day

The Umina Women's 67th Birthday and Presentation Day was held on Tuesday 25th November 2025. A lovely day was had by all.   The party hats made it very festive.    Thanks to Yvonne Norman for making the delicious cake.     We sang Happy Birthday to ourselves when the cake was cut.

The Presentation for the Winners and Runners Up of our Championship events was held after lunch.  It was lovely to see most members in our new 'blue' uniform.      Full details of recipients in photos below.

Also on this day 6 members received their 20 year membership badge. This was given to them by Life Member Lesley.   Details in photos.

President Pat welcomed Captain Lesley from the Salvation Army.  She was delighted to receive the Toys and Gifts brought in by our members and thanked everyone for their generosity.  It was very interesting to hear how they distribute them to the needy families on the Peninsular.
